I'mm with Talon on White. I think he will give Jones a hell of a battle. I also hear that German's the real deal. Stehling is probably the best thrower of the lot. He just can't run.

He passed up Louisville, Arizona, and Colorado for Rice. Seems like the kind of thing either he or the coaches should have realized (vis-a-vis the offensive scheme run by Rice and what they require of a QB in terms of athleticism and running). Honestly, as I watched McHargue miss multiple open receivers and throw untimely INT's early in the year, I was really wanting to see the best thrower out there, running capabilities be damned! And I've suspected that is Stehling or Billups, though I'm not an insider or someone who watches any practices.

McHargue has obviously improved his passing the last few games, but I still yearn at times to see someone with Clement's throwing capabilities, even if it means sacrificing some running and scrambling options. But that is just personal preference in terms of what I enjoy watching, not necessarily what is best for the team!

Stehling came in pretty thin. He's put on some weight and probably continues to do so. He could factor in the spring/next fall.

Would be nice to pair a ~60%+ completion passing game with our running offense. (right now we're ~50%)

I tried this last summer, but my wife blocked it!

so the vote was 1-1, and she won in a landslide?

It's not who votes that counts, it's who counts the votes.

Um, that's not going to go over well when your wife finds out that you told the internet that she can't count to two...

She can! Her count went, "One for my choice, One that was clearly intended to be for my choice, so that's makes 2...".

She deemed it passed.
