It's actually should be worse than that, but TT ignored part of their NCAA sanctions and did not forfeit their games where they played ineligible players.

The houston media guide has it at 18-11-1. If they have more wins, it would be reflected in your media guide.

Tech was required to forfeit games in which their ineligible players played. The NCAA report did not spell out which players were ineligible in their report. Since Tech and the NCAA are the only ones who know for sure which players were ineligible, those are the only 2 bodies that can say which games must be forfeited. The NCAA required Tech to do it so only one body could list their forfeits. And TT didn't do it.

Other teams could make a pretty good guess about some of the ineligible players since you had a few 0.0 GPAs or no classes taken reported in the papers, but no official list of ineligible players or forfeited games ever came out. So UH reports only what they can.

I'm sure you have a credible link to this? Houston fans have no business talking about ineligible players with the trouble UH was in during the 80's and early 90's. Don't worry though, UH will get 4 shots at Tech in the near future to widen that series league. Until then, scoreboard.

Damn Houston sure was relevant in the 70s. People may laugh now but once someone in the AAC invents a time machine they are going to be an elite football conference.

I'm positive you are a coog fan acting as a Texas Tech fan stirring the pot. Stop because you are embarrassing yourself.

Guess i'm not the only one who likes to stir the pot. Is UNT even considered a real college?

Guess I'm a little lost as to why a byu v houston thread on a AAC board filled up with Tech posters.

Because any time UH has success, their inferiority complex kicks in and they have to try to make themselves look better by putting down UH.

Read the TT sanctions yourself and get back to me.

Our sanctions never included forfeited games. No. We got hit harder with loss of scholarships and TV. I'd take forfeits any time because they don't affect the future and really don't affect the past either.

If that was a "bad game", please sign us up for more. If we play like that from here on out, we'll win a hell of a lot more than we'll lose.
