Congrats East Carolina!
God I hated watching this game, but you guys are clearly the better team, we have a lot of work to do, I'm not sure that we'll ever be the Southern Miss team of the late 90's again, but I damn sure hope we do something to get respectable again! I have enjoyed the rivalry with you guys over the years as stated in my previous thread it's been my favorite since I've been watching Southern Miss Football.. Good Luck from here on out!

Mullens will do good things for you guys as he gains experience... really like his vision and escapability. Needs to work on sliding so he doesn't get crushed though.

RE: Congrats East Carolina!
I enjoy every ECU win but that one was painful in a way. Just remember that when ECU had their two terrible seasons in 03 and 04, Southern Miss won the 2004 meeting by a score of 51-10. Every program faces these low points and they all come back from it. USM has been fortunate to have fewer low points than most and they will be back to their normal selves soon I hope. I hope I get to see another knock down drag out game between USM and ECU in the not too distant future.
