Seems good for the AAC to me ~ all their strength coming from Louisville on the way out the door does not do much good for the AAC.

They went from having a top 10 team and dark horse for the title game on its way out the door for no real benefit to the conference to having (so far) a top 25 team that will actually be around next year. They are net winners from that swap.

You meant to be talking about 2013, but you originally said "better for the AAC", and its normal to read that as being better for the AAC overall. The benefit over the long haul of a school that is hanging around looking good is greater than the "loss" of being able to be called a one good school conference with that school heading out the door.
