I'm fine with what we've got while at the same time I think the gold helmet is dope.

CUSA/MAC/SB are not hugely lucrative so I don't expect JMU to spend $ on gimmick unis if I like them or not.

I'd like to see a JMU logo on the side of the helmet similar to VMI's logo. Anyone with any skills able to put the JMU mashed up like that?

I agree. Helmets should be gold...but I think it's time for a new stylized "JMU" logo. The one on the helmets now is ok, but it doesn't work on a baseball cap for the baseball team, and it doesn't look great on centercourt of the basketball court either. I'd like a more creative way to showcase "JMU" on the gold helmet and have a logo that could go on a baseball cap as well. Just my opinion...

It would work on a baseball cap if they actually used the "JMU" logo. Last I saw they didn't. I honestly don't pay too much attention to the baseball team so if they've started using the "JMU" logo on the hat it's news to me.

By the way, I want nothing to do with any logo that would resemble anything used by VMI for any purpose. The one time I went to Lexington as an MRD for a game, the VMI crowd easily qualified as the rudest, most moronic I've ever seen. I don't care for their logo either.

Like the helmets and the gloves, quite nice.

Agree to disagree. I think a baseball cap with the current logo looks fine for you or me, but not for the baseball team. Just too long across the hat. Can't think of another school that has a logo like that on their baseball hat. Even LSU has their baseball cap like JMU's current hat.

I think JMU's current baseball cap logo is about as close as you're going to get to the VMI logo with "JMU" without it looking absolutely terrible.
