Guys,

Since English is not going anywhere before the end of the season, I have decided to stop stressing and have some fun with this. So here goes!!!

In Chicago, the Cubs had something they called the "Billy Goat curses" as being the reasons (WHY) they hadn't won a World Series in over 100 years plus, and my father and I are still laughing about it. People have done some crazy things to try and break it.. (Really weird stuff).

They have trying to find out what needs to happen to break this curse so we can win another one. Could there be a curse on EMU? I am willing to do a Native American dances for a week to break this curse. I figure Emu Steve will probably helpout alone with EmuSuperfan, Huronrob, Emuarron. Wooden., holybovine, and let Ken Barna or KPJ lead us in this dance..

I recall Boston (Bambino) had a cure that they also had to break. Before winning.

Eastern's collapse started with changing the nickname. I think we are cursed for that. I would be willing to lead in any Native American Dance that would help the cause. That was such a stupid move, that has haunted Eastern in more ways than just athletics.

Maybe you should contact the Row the Boat guy over at Western. He seems to know a bit about dancing.

No it didn't. Infact we held the NCAAs college football longest losing streak long before the name change.

I agree, but I'm talking of the two major sports. Anyway, Coach Harkema took them to an eventual league championship and California Bowl win after that losing streak. So in my opinion it happened after we were no longer Hurons. What have we looked at since 1995? Constant losing with a winning season a few years in basketball in between.

There's no curse...just incompetent administrators.

Could not agree MORE!!!

I danced with my daughter and her friends on the track around the football field and a couple students joined in. Sorry I can't dance to save my life.. No it wasn't a Native American dance because my baby (daughter said hell no to it).

So now maybe the curse will be broken.. Bring on NIU!!!!
