What happens if UL is undefeated and...
each conference winner has at least one loss, and SEC Title game winner has TWO losses...does UL play for the NAtional Championship?

I think a 1 loss SEC winner and a 1 loss Clemson or FSU (loser of this weekend) still get in over Louisville. There would need to be a lot of upsets between now and December for that to happen. Which is a shame because I'm sure Louisville could hang with any of them and win even, but perception is reality in college football and Louisville is perceived to have a weak schedule (which they arguably do).
I just don't see a way where enough teams lose to put Louisville in. But if you beat us tomorrow night, I will really be hoping I'm wrong.

If you beat the snot out of UCF and the rest of the AAC then I could see Louisville going to the NC, providing that there are not two other 0 loss teams.

not even close. 1 loss from any p5 conf would jump UL and a 2 loss sec would still be ahead of UL as long as that 2 loss team is bama or lsu. Would need every P5 team to have 2 losses and all SEC teams to have 3 losses before UL sniffs the NC. Even then im sure they'd find a way to keep UL out.

That's a bit extreme.

The picking order goes basically like this:
1. P5 team with 0 losses.
2. P5 team with 1 loss.
3. AAC/MWC team with 0 loss.
4. P5 team with 2 losses.
5. AAC/MWC team with 1 loss.
6. P5 team with 3 losses and AAC/MWC teams with 2 losses

Ville will move up the rankings when others lose, so it is possible. When do the BCS rankings come out?

No.
Honestly, I think the only way UofL plays for a national championship is if the following happens:
1. UofL goes undefeated and wins the remainder of its games convincingly.
2. Almost every P5 champion has at least two losses. I think a one loss Big 10, PAC 10, ACC, SEC, or Big 12 champ will get in over an undefeated UofL.

I'm not so sure about a one loss Big 12, or B1G team this year... The other 3 I agree.

Not quite. I see an unbeaten UL finishing ahead of many 1-loss P5 teams. There are just a few - Alabama, LSU, TAMU - that would beat out an unbeaten UL.
A 1-loss SEC champ is far more of a danger to UL than a 1-loss ACC or Big 12 champ. Or ACC champ.

Here is who would finish ahead of unbeaten Louisville (in my opinion):
1. Any Zero Loss p5 team.
2. Any 1 loss SEC team
3. One Loss Oregon
4. One Loss Clemson/Florida State
I think that is the list. I think Louisville finishes ahead of:
1. Any one loss Big 12 team
2. Any other 1 loss Pac 12 team (stanford would be close)
3. 1 Loss Ohio State

RE: What happens if UL is undefeated and...
Louisville undefeated from this conference doesn't play for a national title. If the good ol' boys that control college football wouldn't let a Big East team play for one after Miami and VaTech left, they certainly won't let an AAC team play for it. Is it fair? Probably not but it is what it is.

they win the acc (not a typo)
the sec and big ten champion loses 2 games
anything else is wishful thinking
(translation = never)
can you name the last acc champion that played for the NC?
didn't think so

I honestly have no idea what you were trying to say in the above post?
As for the last ACC champion that played for the NC, it would either be FSU in the 1990s (if you don't count any teams that moved into the ACC from the Big East) or Miami in the early 2000s (if you credit their NC to the ACC since they are now part of that conference).

You are correct about The AAC. No team from this conference will ever play for a national title. That is why Syracuse, Pitt and WVU left. It's the reason Louisville is leaving. It's also the reason Cincinnati, UConn and USF are desperate to get out. When you have played at the top it is difficult to accept being relegated to a lower division. Ask Houston and SMU fans
The ACC, however, has a clear path to the NCP. Go undefeated in The ACC and you will get a spot in the playoffs. Presently The ACC has 2 teams in the Top 5 and another in The Top 10. All Louisville ever wanted was an opportunity and next year we get our chance.

The odds are stacked against in the BCS formula.
