It would probably be colder, but at least they play indoors.

So, what's your first priority? NDSU or ISU joining the MAC? 03-lmfao

NDSU would be ideal if the campus were located somewhere in Western Pennsylvania.

Exactly.

I know it's a long shot, but I'd still like to see JMU in the MAC. They have great football support and facilities and an even bigger upside than NDSU.

Gored Birds!

I stand by the fact that a winter day in DeKalb is no day at the beach.

1. You need a conference invite. You can't just show up to the party without one.
2. Right now the prospect of going to a bowl game doesn't outweigh the benefits of being in a playoff. Teams that go to bowl games generally lose money in doing so.
3. We're doing just find at FCS

#2 and #3 prove that you're not interested in #1.

NDSU officials are not-so-secretly waiting for the BCS conferences to break off and leave the remaining FBS conference behind. Once that happens, the thought is that the top FCS conferences will join with the lower tier FBS conferences in a new division. Maybe the FBS schools reduce their scholarships and the top FCS conferences increase to somewhere in the middle.

1. You need to let a conference know that you would like an invite. No FBS conference wants to go through what the WAC did when they invited Montana and half the Big Sky. Do a feasibility study or something and publicize it.

2. By what measure does an FCS championship provide more benefits than a bowl game? Try to name a single one. Actually, don't. There aren't any.

3. That is the exact attitude that will keep you in the FCS forever.

And as for the BCS conferences breaking off and leaving the rest of the FBS behind, that will not happen. It's a naive and, frankly, ridiculous idea.
