I don't get how the educated faculty do not get how such a move will be good overall for JMU.

education doesn't always overcome bias.

Let's also be VERY CLEAR on one issue. The Faculty has absolutely NO SAY on whether JMU moves up or not.....they are one of many constituents in this discussion. Their opinion will be heard, but it is not decisive.

I am willing to bet that the faculty at MOST universities are against athletic spending.

The decision is up to Alger and the BOV.
