3rd & 9, great play by Keenan Stalls to knock that ball away! KSU down 10-0 after the FG is good by USA's kickers.

And just when I'm sitting here fuming at running Dri between the tackles he busts one for 74 yards and makes that TD look easy, 10-7 now. Damn, does he run so smoothly and make it look effortless or what?

And all momentum is lost once the D goes back out there. They carve us up on another drive and go up 17-7.

Two half-assed calls to run Dri and then they take him out on 3rd and 7 when you need him out there? Seems now Fisher is out there trying to run too much.

RE: South Alabama game
HUGE rush a sack and fumble recovery! Now under review, a tough call here for the refs to make that may swing things greatly. Oddly, Linder said it's a MAC officiating team and a review team from the Sun Belt. BS call to call it an incomplete pass.

RE: South Alabama game
The QB was diving and just prior to hitting the ground they say he passed the ball. We needed 7 here, a reverse that was snuffed out quickly by a defender lagging behind the play but in the right spot to blow it up, then Fisher scrambles and out of bounds. SMH. We needed points!!!

What is going on here? Fisher isnt a true freshman, let him throw the ball, as KSU's defense isn't stopping them, so KSU's offense is going to have to score 30 points to win this game!

RE: South Alabama game
They are calling passes but Fisher is taking off running every time. We haven't been able to establish Durham or any running game, outside of the obvious TD by Archer, and we have no passing game. Very sloppy game overall to watch.

RE: South Alabama game
And South Alabama gets the ball coming out of the 2nd half. This will be a huge uphill climb to win this game in the 2nd half.

The KSU sideline reporter keeps saying that the KSU defensive coaching staff is giving no instruction to the players when they come off of the field and are just expecting the players to figure it out.

RE: South Alabama game
Nice to see Marcus Wright stepping up big in the first half. With the injuries on the D line he's become very important. He's been playing a little better each week since Trehune went down, looks to be making a big step today. I don't know of anywhere defensive stats are available but I know he had 1 sack and 1 big tackle on a QB scramble that led to a 3rd and long. He also should have had another sack + fumble forced but somehow they managed to overturn that and call it an incomplete pass. That might be one of the worst replay reviews I've seen...

One other note, why did Fisher cut his hair? Without the long hair he looks too much like Mark Sanchez for me to think he'll be capable to playing QB.

Earlier the ESPN reporter stated at some times adjustments don't need to be made or can't be made and the players just have to get it done. That's true, can't always blame the coaches, at some point the guys need to execute. But yeah, these coaches haven't been impressing me much today.

RE: South Alabama game
No passing game whatsoever so they're stacking the box and we're running Dri up the gut into it. A couple more false start calls and Fisher running it again. 03-banghead

Finally a pass and it's a backhanded shovel pass with two defenders hanging on Fisher.

Sadly, very one dimensional without Reardon! Some poor choices and our D is like a leaky basement...I keep holding out hope but that's a lot of pressure on Dri.

It was very close, but c'mon the guy was going out of bounds and there was no need to take a shot at him. Frustration on the part of the defense.....
