RE: UNT Attendance > Houston Attendance
An unrelated question that suddenly seems relevant: was there interleague (and intraleague) attendence smack (or any other smack) when it was utep, smu, houston, and rice representing tx is cusa 2.0?

Not judging. Honestly don't remember. I'm tying to figure out if this is a Texas thing, or a combination thing.

It does suck. Also, 11am kickoffs suck ass!

11 am? Wow. Was that a TV thing, Gemini?

Yes, you can say that.

Texas schools are always bashing each other. It's something we're raised with here. UTEP never really gets much discussion with most other Texas universities in the Eastern half of the state though.

Aggies hate Bears. Cougars hate Longhorns. Mustangs hate Frogs. Owls hate Cougars. Maybe Miners hate Roadrunners now?

We don't hate the Cougars. We pity them.

Are you kidding? From the moment I started visiting this board when we were being considered for addition, the attendance smack has flowed freely. Rice and SMU were always slammed. Not so much from the other TX schools (but there was some), but primarily from the schools with 25k+ attendance and certainly from you know who.

I thought it was a CUSA thing.

The only Texas team I can't stand is the Shorthorns. I don't dislike any other Texas team not even the Roadkills
