ESPN Goal Line on ESPN3...
Just noticed this today--kind of a Red Zone Channel for CFB? They've only shown blips of Washington-Oregon, though, which I assume means this is a ESPN-only product at this point. They need some Fox cooperation to make it really useful.

It's a poor man's version of Redzone for college. They have had it for a couple of years. But Fox will have no part of that.

Redzone is unbelievable. If they hired the redzone producers to do it, it would be a money channel.

RE: ESPN Goal Line on ESPN3...
I've noticed the Redzone feeds run about 10 seconds ahead of the live broadcast feeds, which seems kind of odd, since the live broadcast is supposed to be an instantaneous broadcast...

What's causing the 10 second delay on the live feed? 03-confused That's given me a case of that which killed the cat...

probably the HD delay. I bet if you look at the standard feeds that would not be the case

I was looking at the standard feed. I don't have an HD TV, since my old 45" is perfectly serviceable...

Your local CBS and Fox affiliates are likely adding a delay that would allow them to censor something, even though the network is probably doing that also.

For cable that is a non-issue.
