AP: Five things to watch - MACTION (BG)
Each week The Associated Press moves a featured called "Five Things To Watch" previewing the week's college football games. This week, No. 5 was:

MACTION. Searching for a potential Mid-American Conference upset this week? How about Bowling Green (5-1) at Mississippi State (2-3)? The Falcons feature Travis Greene, who is 12th in the nation at 118 yards per game.

Yeah, I do worry a bit about too many people paying attention to this. But, at least BG has its fate in its own hands.

That being said, one more example of how the MAC-Laughlin blogger round table should be more positive.

They should be honest, whether it reflects positively or negatively on the MAC. They aren't paid shills for the "product" like almost all of the national media. The schools and the MAC provide more than enough puff pieces.

I never said be dishonest. But there's no reason to emphasize the negative.

As for the national media, they already provide plenty of negative toward the MAC.

Would not surprise me to see BUGS win. At a minimum, I expect it to be close well into the 4th quarter.
