UTSA 2015 Commits (4 and counting)
The 'Runners are off to an incredible start for recruiting in the 2015 class.

They picked up 2 commitments after today's Jr. Day. One is a 3 Star RB that's 6'2" and has 4.5 speeed.

In all, we were able to confirm 8 new offers went out today on top of the 2 commits.

Late yesterday a source told us that 220 kids were expected, that was completely shattered. Nearly 500 kids showed up for UTSA's Jr Day.

No matter how you look at it, for a program getting ready to play it's 4th season, that is very impressive.

500+ attendees is insane! Runners having a full 25 schollies to hand out this year will be great. We are going to need them to reload after losing so many SRs this year.

RE: UTSA 2015 Commits (Jr. Day)
Was a great day indeed! Still, I'm not getting too excited just yet because they're still juniors and there's a long way to go yet. Kids change their minds all the time, but even a lot of kids who didn't yet commit left some remarks on Twitter about how impressed they were. Fingers crossed.

RE: UTSA 2015 Commits (Jr. Day)
Add 1 more, we broke the news on the 3rd commit of the day.

A nice 6'4" WR has become the newest pledge of the 2015 class.

UTSA now has 3 commitments for the 2015 class.

Coach Coker and his staff know what they're doing.

I'm a little shell shocked. Took us months and months to get to 3 in the 14' cycle. To have 3 this early and a stud RB has me scratching my head. Hard work by the staff is starting to pay off.

With all the scholarships available in 2015 and the attacking midset of the coaching staff I predict UTSA will have one of the strongest mid major recruiting classes in 2015

They can sign more than 25. You are allowed to backdate some. That is how some schools get away with signing 30 or 32 players.

Especially if they are mid-year transfers.

You're right. For example, USF signed 28 players, but could have signed 31. Those 3 spots will be filled next year, when again USF will be signing more than 25. There are tons of creative ways to sign more than the so called max of 25.

#4 is in! Wow, the staff is completely tearing it up right now.

The latest is an APB who will most likely line up at Slot WR for the 'Runners.

He's timed as fast as a 4.3.

Boise State and Kansas State were already making strong contact.

A 4.3 flat... where is that from? I heard a forty as slow as 4.63 (which he is clearly faster than, but I also don't see 4.3 speed).

His Hudl has it at 4.36. I think its probably hand held time. But the kid is fast, really fast.

No doubt.

Very excited about these commits, but will be more excited to see who eventually signs and if we can hold on to some of these early guys.
