You might also want to note that Mount Vernon was Washington's home. It wasn't the white house.
Neither of those details are relevant. You've been proven wrong, and dull-witted straw man rejoinders don't work on me.

I'm personally amused as to how you ignored both of my posts containing founding father quotes contradicting your opinion.
He does this all the time, all while acting like his intellectually superior.
See, logic isn't just whatever whim you come up with.
Evidently it is to you.
Well that's quite a retort. "I can't prove any of my points, but I'll just keep claiming to be right. It always got me points in high school.":drunk:

I really do pity you.
Having that many intellectual shortcomings must really be hell for you. But then again, you don't really know you possess them. Ignorance is bliss, I suppose.

Religion played a significant part in the observance of the holiday at Mount Vernon as the Washingtons frequently attended church on Christmas day. In 1770, for example, Christmas fell on a Tuesday. After going to nearby Pohick Church in the morning, the family returned to Mount Vernon for dinner. Similar patterns were followed in 1771 and 1772, when December 25 fell on a Wednesday and Friday.

Christmas did not even become a holiday until 1870. Last time I checked, Washington was a corpse by then.
You might also want to note that Mount Vernon was Washington's home. It wasn't the white house.
It became a federal holiday in the United States in 1870
The Romans placed an enormous amount of pressure on the early Christians to rejoice along with them, and around the time of the fourth century, they began to celebrate Christmas around the same time. It was inevitable that Christians should make a connection between the rebirth of the sun and the birth of the Son.

All the time? PUOSU.
I already pointed out that the quotes shouldn't be used as contradictions, but rather refinements. It's also telling as to who wrote the various quotes.
Thus you've failed twice to prove your point, "But the founding fathers did not want Christianity to have a place in government."
That may have been true for some of them, but clearly not for all. And furthermore, there needs to be more context for what was written by your opposition.
See, logic isn't just whatever whim you come up with.
I haven't posted quotes. Also, those are not my words. Are you getting confused? Also, you can't come in here and decide what is considered a contradiction or a refinement. Your interpretation of all of these quotes is not in line with how the supreme court has interpreted them.

I quoted three people and addressed them. You seem to be confused.
Quote:Also, you can't come in here and decide what is considered a contradiction or a refinement.
Actually I can. I have the ability to do critical thinking.
Quote: Your interpretation of all of these quotes is not in line with how the supreme court has interpreted them.
So, that doesn't necessarily make me wrong. Furthermore, I didn't address a question of what the SC said recently, I pointed to what the founders said.
You do struggle with reading. I guess those weather charts are easier, plus you don't actually have to be right very often.
