RE: California Dem Gov. Signs Law Allowing Nurses And Midwives To Perform Abortions…
Any information on the scope of this? What types of abortions they will be allowed to partake in?

Midwives, I'm not ok with, but in many states NP's have the basically the same abilities as physicians. They can open their own practice and do anything a physician in the same specialty could. If that's the case, there's no reason to not allow them to do this to. But midwives, yeah, not sure how the hell they weasled their way into that.

I guess that's one catchphrase that we won't be hearing as much anymore.

The new phrase:

"Abortion should be between a woman and any twit with a Hover"

Abortions are somewhat risky operations to begin with due to all of the possible complications. They need to be done by a legitimate doctor in a hospital setting. I believe that there will be unintended consequences that come as a result of passing this law.

Consequences of laws aren't unintended. They are passed on purpose.
