Absolutely. London is AWFUL COACH - ask any UVA fan. He won at UR with Dave Clawson's recurits. Has not done a damn thing since. NO fault to him he cashed in while hot, but he is exactly like MM - Can recruit well, but has awful in game management and does not listen to assistants.

Richmond brains for $1,000,000 an ounce must mean it takes killing a loooooooot of Ticks for an ounce of brains. Which would explain why they screwed up their already stupid joke.

Several years ago, JMU played at UR during their fall break. The student newspaper published a top 10 list of things to do over fall break.

Football wasn't listed.

It's pretty well known in Richmond that UofR guys ain't packin'. Girls pretty much stay away from them at bars.

I also can't remember what year it was, but it had to have been either 2008 or 2010. I'm thinking it was 2008, which made that a huge fail as were the #1 team rolling into town.

Do the current students realize just how much the alumni despise UR and do you think they share that feeling? Growing up in NOVA I didn't have any feelings for UR one way or the other. Going to JMU during the Lefty and Dick Tarrant years formed a great rivalry that we looked forward to every year. The Midnight Game in the Convo against UR on ESPN was the greatest atmosphere I've ever experienced. We were killing UR on national tv and I don't think a sole left early. I would love to see that Saturday. Since graduation the back and forth in the football rivalry has been great. I've lived near Richmond the last 10 years which has made the feelings even stronger. Like Barry said, the only thing greater than a victory over the Spiders this season would be a national championship.

While I agree the "brain" joke seems more than a bit off, you guys left off the funniest, and in my mind most pointed of the jokes..

"If three JMU football players are in the same car, who is driving? The police officer".

Good luck this weekend to the Dukes, but I hope the Spiders cruise. Wish I could make it down from Boston.
