This had better be there >_>

********

There has to be some Judas Preist but I'm not sure what albums were 70s vs 80s for their classics.

Another classic. OF course, I think the band hates they ever did that song. None of their other music sounds like that song.

I really like Rocket Queen, but my favorite is Night Train.

Dude, that song gives me chills. That was my grandmothers favorite song and she made a point to play it for me each time I saw her. Little did I know she was dying of emphysema (I was young). That video reminds me of her and makes me miss her. Thanks for posting.

2:01 of that song defines the 80s.

Can we just merge this thread with one of the Gay Marriage threads, and send you off in pairs to the nearest justice of the peace?

For everyone who wonders what gave genesis to the gay rights movement of the last 30 years - it was 80s music.

I should go through and negative rep every person that posted in this thread. The fact is that the 80s were an abysmal period of time for music. If it weren't for Metallica, Megadeth, and Iron Maiden, it would've been unbearable.

Eyes Without a Face
Kiss Off, Add it Up
It's a Kind of Magic (almost the whole damn album)
Tainted Love
Faith
Hold Me Now
Working for the Weekend
Seconds (U2)
Our Lips are Sealed
Not Now John (Pink Floyd)

I also think you have to have Culture Club

And no one mentions Prince? John Cougar Mellencamp?

Yeah, got there while I was posting. But I like the juxtaposition.

RE: OT: Favorite 80's Song
Saw Mellencamp open for the Kinks in 1981 at the old UC Armory field house. He might have 1-2 songs
circulating on the charts at that time. Then American Fool took off in 1982. He doesn't get the credit for
putting out many good albums-cds whatever you call them.

Mr. Happy go Luck, Human Wheels, Dance Naked from the 1990's were all very good.

Culture Club's "Karma Chameleon" was and still is a catchy tune.
