Tigers coordinator makes Top 10 list
Well-deserved.

Odom has significantly improved our defense.

Good company on this list on Top 10 coordinators making it happen

Don't sleep on Houston. Our D has yet to play a high octane offense.

1.- I don't believe anyone here is 'sleeping on Houston'. This thread is just us being excited about having a coordinator that is receiving recogination

2.- I'm not going stat by stat on the line item, but I think UCF has as 'high octan' of an offense as Houston. UCF has one of the best quarterbacks outside of Bridgewater that we'll face this year. UCF scored 25 points against a very tough USC defense, and cored 30+ in all three of its 1st games. We've held them to their lowest score of the year. They've scored 159 points through 5 games, including against an SEC team and a B1G team. Houston's SOS is quite a bit weaker. Their numbers look good putting up 62 against Southern and 59 against UTSA.. but they only put 22 points on the board against one of the AAC's weakest teams in Temple.

I hope we can keep Odom just one more year. Well, I'd like to keep him forever, but you know what I mean.

It was just a phrase that being used on the AAC board. I am confident in our defense this Saturday and beyond.
