The Duke QB had over 300 yards passing and over 100 yards rushing (team leader)
Without the 4 INTs the Devils might have won.

TH, IMO is a better QB than Connette.

RE: Pitt
VT is putting pressure on the Pitt QB using just the 4 down lineman, most of the time. Not sure our D is gonna be able to exert much pressure, since they have not done it all season. This is the same thing UVA did to hold Pitt to 14 points. We need to find away to exert some pressure on the QB.

Pitt's offense is not impressive at all so far against VT.

Re: Pitt
Yes, but VT has one of the better Ds in the country. The key to beating Pitt will be TH repeating his ECU performance and the D holding Pitt to 35 points. We aren't going to shut them down... might as well get out of Fantasy Land and hope we can simply force a punt here and there or at least make some Red Zone stops for FG attempts.

Logan Thomas really blows. Perhaps the most overrated college QB in history?

Re: Pitt
Would love to see Pitt score a couple of late TDs and gett them after an emotional win sandwiched between big games.

Well, it looks like we traded them our homecoming issues,

Also, UD tied it up late in the 4th vs. Albany.

Maybe Charlotte should have cancelled this game 3 weeks ago and replaced with Pembroke High School.

Pembroke-45
Charlotte-22
FINAL.

UD over UAlbany 33-30 last second FG.

RE: Pitt
After watching the Panther/Hokie game i don't think we will be able to run the ball on them from the running back position but i do believe we might be able to gain some yardage with the quarterback scrambling and running. Virginia Tech quarterback ran for some good yardage against Pitt. Our defense will really have to step it up.

RE: Pitt
Not sure if you guys saw this but Pitt's Devin Street left the game late with a shoulder injury on a brutal hit from Tech's Kyshoen Jarrett.

I doubt he plays, one catch shy from being Pitt's all time leading receiver. Over 100 yards against FSU and Va Tech.

I think you are right, but do you think we risk Heinicke for this game?
Logan Thomas is a more natural DE or TE than a QB. Taylor is all QB and I am not sure we want to risk him with too many designed runs.

If Street doesn't play that would be a big plus for us.

Well if we are successful passing without Taylor getting sacked too often then i think Taylor stays in. If the passing doesn't work out then i think we see David Washington and he may be more effective in this scenario.

I agree, I see DW as a much faster, effective scrambler. TH is to valuable to lose. If the game is close and it might mean the difference between winning and losing, O. K., but otherwise, forget it.

My guide is saying SAF3 starring Dolph Lundgren will be airing at 7pm on Saturday on this channel.

Hopefully we get some clarification on this as the week goes on.

You all are talking about benching TH? Insanity. Washington isn't playing unless the game gets out of hand.

We are not insane and we are not talking about benching TH. We are talking about keeping him healthy.

I'm pretty sure heinicke isn't coming out no earlier than the 4th if he does come out at all.
