Week 7 BCS Bowl Projections
BCSNCG: Alabama(13-0) vs Stanford(13-0)
Rose: Oregon(11-1) vs Ohio State(13-0)
Orange: Louisville(11-1) vs Clemson(12-1)
Fiesta: Baylor(11-1) vs Florida State(11-1)
Sugar: Florida(11-2) vs Oklahoma(11-1)

Potential replacements:
BCSNCG- Florida, LSU, Georgia, Missouri; vs Oregon, UCLA, Clemson, FSU, Miami, Oklahoma, Baylor, Ohio State, Michigan

Rose- Stanford, UCLA; vs Michigan, Nebraska, Northwestern

Orange- Rutgers, Houston, UCF; vs Miami, VT, FSU

Fiesta- Oklahoma; vs Clemson, Miami, VT

Sugar- Missouri, Georgia, Alabama, LSU; vs Baylor, Fresno State, NIU

I'm going off my own personal opinion of who controls their own destiny and the teams with the highest likelihood of running the table a/o win their conference. Just the way I see it playing out as of right now.

The Orange is unlikely to pick Louisville ahead of Oklahoma.

This scenario requires Florida to beat the following remaining teams on their schedule: @LSU, @Missouri, Georgia (Jacksonville), @South Carolina, FSU. I don't know if anyone, including Alabama, can run through that unscathed.

one thought on the Rose Bowl- if your scenario happens- except Stanford loses and Ohio St makes the title game- it's extremely possible the Big Ten won't have a team in the top 14 and thus can't have a team in the Rose Bowl.

really won't matter, the Sugar will have a SEC team in there no matter what.

Texas A&M after the SEC East team gets screwed after losing to Alabama.

Who do you have beating Louisville?

Oh, and Fiesta picks last this year, not the Sugar. You need to move all your Fresno, NIU type picks to the Fiesta.

To heck with him. He's got a seat with a perfect view of the action. All he has to move is his fingers...

Bolded is impossible. Florida at 11-2 would have to only lose to Alabama in SEC Title game, meaning they beat FSU, at 1 loss would then have beaten Clemson, thus making FSU the ACC Champ in the Orange Bowl.

RE: Week 7 BCS Bowl Projections
Thinking of the Rose Bowl, what I'd really like is to see Ohio State, Michigan, and Stanford finish strong with Ohio State winning the Big Ten and Stanford loosing a game in the PAC-12. Then you'd have Ohio State in the national title (my hope of course), but you'd also have Michigan vs. Stanford in the 100th Rose Bowl, which would be the same match-up as the first Rose Bowl.

RE: Week 7 BCS Bowl Projections
1 thing that is interesting is next year...

if Alabama, Stanford or Oregon, Clemson, and Ohio St win out- what would the pairings be?
I think it'd be 1 Alabama 2 Stanford/Oregon, 3/Clemson, and 4/Ohio St...

I don't see the committee pandering to the Rose Bowl by jacking up Ohio St over Clemson. Clemson would have beaten Georgia, Florida St, South Carolina, and Miami. Ohio St wouldn't have a single win better than that.

Well damn. I guess you're right. FSU at 10-2 then. Or Miami at 11-2.

If Alabama, Clemson, Oregon, and Ohio State all win out, I could see Alabama-Clemson playing for the national championship and Oregon-Ohio State playing in the Rose Bowl.

I can't see Alabama being left out of their right to defend.
Clemson has THE schedule to play for the BCS title.
Oregon has the scoring and schedule to play for the BCS title.
Ohio State will be riding a 24 game winning streak but their schedule is not as impressive.

Ohio State needs to play in a signature game next year like Alabama-Virginia Tech opened the season.

for this year, I don't see Oregon getting passed by Clemson. I think their computer numbers would be extremely close, maybe even a tie, but the polls would likely favor Oregon.

Ohio St would be riding a 25 game winning streak(CCG).

Ohio St needed to play in that signature game this year. next year with 4 slots, won't matter nearly as much.

If the B1G continues to suck, OSU has no shot. Personally if both Oregon and Clemson finish undefeated, they would be more deserving than Alabama in my opinion.
