Last week was even more brutal. That was the worst football game I've ever been to. Every aspect was just bad...including halftime!

RE: Rice 30, Tulsa 27 OT/FINAL
I always want to see C-USA "returnees" win over C-USA "leavees", so I'm very happy that Rice won today and stays atop the C-USA West. I'd like nothing better than Rice taking care of the rest of their business and landing in the Conference Championship game at 8-0 (which will mean that BOTH Tulsa and Tulane will have likely lost to the Owls.)
But, I just have this sneaking feeling that Tulsa isn't done. Yeah, they are 1-4, but their schedule (including Rice) has been brutal and virtually none of us could have done well with it.) It will not surprise me if they end up at 7-1 and contend strongly for the West which is why it is imperative that Rice treat every C-USA game with the utmost respect and win them all.

Tulsa will not win many more games unless we change QBs. Our coach is ruining his career winning % & his reputation by stubbornly staying with a very bad Sr. QB. If Tulsa keeps Green @ QB, I think we end up 4-8 (3-5 in conference) or even 3-9 (2-6). If we change QBs soon, I could see a 6-6 ( 5-3) record.
I don't see us beating ECU or Marshall either way.
Editted to add : Congrats to Rice on the win today. I know it wasn't pretty either way, but Rice has waited a while to get this win. Congrats to Rice !

Way to show some real heart, Rice! Congratulations...Tulsa's not an easy place to pick up a road win, but it's obvious that there is courage and a true desire to win with your team. I was pleased to hear that you all had emerged victorious.
