WVU lost to Maryland while playing in a torrential downpour with a QB that had a torn pectoral muscle that he didn't tell the coach about until after the game. WVU's defense played well enough for WVU to win. But when the offense turns the ball over 6 times deep in their own territory, it's kind of hard to win, or generate any offense...

If WVU played Maryland right now, the outcome would look quite a bit different. But you play the games when they're scheduled, and that's all she wrote...
