What I have a problem with, is-
- The lack of fundamentals
- can't even wrap arms around the ball carrier
- poor angles
- no containment, not getting off the block (even a quarterback runs right past us

Any scheme can work..... So long as it is executed correctly.

Nobody has been able to tackle Dixon in space - Tulane and Lamar missed out on seeing him play. We suck but I really think he will be playing on Sundays

I agree. We can't tackle for crap. The defense is in position to make the plays, they just don't have the heart or ability to do it.

Also, the management at the end was fine. If we kick the FG then we are either kicking it off and having to rely on the defense to stop LT and hopefully get the ball back with <30 seconds needing a TD. We could also kick the onsodes but its the same chance at getting the ball and we still have to score a TD.

By getting the TD first we have to go for an onsides, but if we get it, all we need is a FG and will not need much yardage to get into range.

I see your point, but I'm just upset right now. It sucks to see us not do so good

Scott Stoker is proven. Give him some time. The offense looked fine.

I agree and I think we will see a few JC transfers on the defensive side on signing day. We have little to no talent on that side of the ball.

Congrats to the Bulldog faithful on your win.

Oh Dixon will play on Sundays. He's not the only one. IK will next year. I think Cobb and Ellis have a chance next year.

I know El Paso is sick of "next year" and "rebuilding" but I think we are going to be okay. I don't think the defense will be fixed by next year. I think we are going to need all of this year and next to start turning the ship. I believe we have the right coaches in place. We just need to give them time. I say this as a Mike Price fan but I think we exhausted all of El Paso's goodwill the last four years. I completely understand why we kept Mike Price as long as we did but it did cost us in other areas.

All that being said, 25K actual butts in the stands, with the season we have been having, with the history that we have, is not bad at all. Not by a long shot.

I don't know about Stoker, he hasn't impressed me much yet. It's apparent the players aren't listening to him as they still suck at tackling.

As for JCer's, it has to be that way. We can't afford to have high schoolers because it takes too long to train them (as if the upper classmen now are being trained at all). We REALLY, REALLY NEED HELP Repost Police.
