Fashion is simply a matter of taste. I'll bet the guy who picked 'em has lousy taste in clothes too. If he didn't have to wear a suit, he wouldn't know how to dress himself...

If some fashionista was making the picks, I might pay some attention. As it is, I could care less...

Most of those are pretty bad. On some of them, the helmet is the worst part.

I like the Iowa and Iowa State unis on that list. The rest of them, meh.

I don't see the issue with the Georgia uniform other than they linked it to the loss. I don't see an issue with VaTech's uniforms other than the sleeve which was optional. I really liked the ASU helmets they had. I liked the Tiger uniform for Mizzou, thought that was something slightly different and original, nor do I see the issue with The U's uniforms that came in at #10. There were, however, some notable failures on that list to be sure.

I kinda LOVE the Lousiana-Lafayette jerseys from that list.

And who could not like the oversize Pitchfork????

All of the Maryland stuff is horrid. It's sad to see them try so hard to turn UnderArmour into the Nike/Oregon connection of the East, and just fail so badly.

I like the featured LaLa jerseys too. The guy who wrote the article is a traditionalist when it comes to numbers, it seems. The black and red fleur de lis looks clean-cut and neat. I don't see too many uniforms with the shoulder number, but I like it.

I liked one or two of them, but the rest all had some gawd awful helmet, uni or both that was way worse than their normal uni (Oregon excepted, their stuff always looks like its designed by some Nike intern on an acid trip)

I actually like TCU's unis a lot, the ones with the red stripe on the helmet. My only gripe is that a uniform should have some kind of sharp contrast, and these don't have it.

The Maryland uniforms are awful.

The Wisconsin unis for their 2012 game would look good as something like a long-sleeved baseball shirt.

Oregon's gray-and-neon combinations (not pictured on the list) were present on the Olympic medal podium in London -- the winners wore those gray Nike jackets with the neon piping. Just goes to show how Nike uses Oregon as a test lab. And I guess it just makes Oregon ahead of its time, fashion-wise.

The overall worst - those bad Notre Dame uniforms with hideous helmets - are indeed the worst ever. I can't even look at them. Choice #3 - the Va Tech Hokie Bird helmets - are bad, but I'm not sure they are even in the same league.

The Maryland uniforms are awesome. I do not understand the constant hate for them.

Virginia Tech always has the worst unis. Those stone helmets and the gobbler helmet look terrible.

Dang Notre Dame and Virginia Tech certainly had their share of the bad uniforms!

I think both uniforms from last night's ND-ASU game make it onto the next list. Just when you think UMD's awful state flag-theme helmets can't be topped, ASU's fire domes come off looking like a bowling ball.

It's awful this year. The number styling, the helmets, the color combinations.

Honestly, I like the grey (or 'smokey as it is listed in the style guide) as a trim color. UT Orange is really light, especially against a white uniform. The other thing I wish the Vols would do is incorporate the checkerboard on a side panel for the pants.

That's not a bad idea, considering the history of the checkerboard in the end zone...

Using that dark gray as an outline would make the jersey numbers pop, that might work well.
