Que? If Pastner left us, Bruce Pearl would be on the short list to call. You can bet your sweet bippy.
In response to the inevitable "we'll be short one booster then", you'll be quickly replaced in spades.
You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

I'd offer that I do indeed have a good idea what I'm talking about.

RE: Bruce Pearl at FedExForum for Memphis Madness
Bruce Pearl would be an excellent replacement for Josh. Josh is good at recruiting, but not coaching. Bruce is an awesome coach.
The ones disagreeing are also the ones that come on here and cry about everything and start boycotts. A BBQ place didn't have Tiger gear on the walls so I won't go back! The Bowl game isn't using Memphis' conference, so I'll never attend another Memphis game! Buffalo Wild Wings dared to put on a highly anticipated football game, even though shi!@* Memphis was on and I'm never going back!
You all are delusional with your expectations. You're also delusional if you don't think Bruce would be at the top of our wish list if we replaced Josh.

BP's early teams did underachieve in the NCAA (based on seeding) but his last team went to the E8 and was a missed shot from going to the FF with zero NBA draft picks.

How did they do in away games against #1 ranked teams in Memphis? I guess they did underachieve.

Problem is, with that argument, what happened to then #1 UTk the next game? They lost to Vandy and limped into the end of the regular season and were curbstomped by Louisville in the S16.
