Should we be worried about the game? Looks like landfall Saturday night as a Cat 1 Hurricane or TS at the MS/AL border.

Our game is early so we won't be effected. Right now there's only a 20% chance of rain during the day... But Saturday night in Troy will be rough.

Isn't it an unwritten rule that a Tropical Storm must begin around a South Alabama football game?

I think this might give pause to USA fans thinking about travelling up for the game tho'

The storm's forward speed has slowed to 6mph. It won't even make landfall until Sunday afternoon.

The weather will NOT be a factor.

Troy is just 1.5 hours straight north of the coast... It would still be a tropical storm probably. But even so that thing won't even start to bring rain to Troy still late late Saturday. Our game is at noon .

2-2.5 hours from the coast...

but either way it is a BEAUTIFUL day in Troy, AL.
