Texas State Louisiana on Austin Cable!
San Marcos, Texas – Texas State University announced that this Saturday's football game at Louisiana will be shown throughout Central Texas on The CW Austin (KNVA) and on ESPN 3.

The game kicks off at 6:07 p.m. and will be produced by Cox Cable in Louisiana. Jeff Palermo will call the play-by-play, while Scott Brazda serves as an analyst and Erin Cofiell is the sideline reporter for the broadcast.

The game can also be heard on Texas State's flagship station ESPN Austin (1260 AM) and KTSW (89.9 FM) with Bobcat announcers Brant Freeman and Bill Culhane describing the action.

Texas State enters the game with a 3-1 record after defeating Wyoming, 42-21, last Saturday at Bobcat Stadium. Louisiana is 2-2 this season and enter Saturday night's game having won its last two games against Nicholls (70-7 at Cajun Field) on Sept. 14 and at Akron (35-30) on Sept. 21. The Ragin' Cajuns were a preseason co-favorite to win the Sun Belt Conference championship this season.

Texas State will play the other co-favorite, UL-Monroe, on Oct. 12 when the Bobcats return home to play UL-Monroe on Oct. 12 at Bobcat Stadium. That game kicks off at 6:06 p.m.

Those your guys doing the announcing/PBP?

And do y'all have a "local" deal? I thought I read somewhere that Sun Belt members can air their games if ESPN and the SBN don't pick it up.

Louisiana does have a deal with Cox to do a number of games at Cajun Field. This year we are expanding and will also do one at Ladd Stadium in Mobile. I think ESPN3 is piggybacking on some of these broadcasts.

That's awesome. Hopefully we can get something like that too, I'm just not terribly hopeful with the big orange machine just up the road.

Bobcat Nation has ever game on. Even if they have to buy the all access feed from the other school. They have confirmed that in the past. And now this one will be on local tv so it's easier for them to get it. The Tech game was awesome to watch there and it got loud and rowdy several times.

I feel your pain. Louisiana has to deal with the Purple and Puke all the time.
