You probably know more about Petrino than your rent a coach. Do asu coaches have offices? Or do they carry around tabernacle like tents like the Jews, not staying there long enough for a permanent structure.
You butthurt that our last two coaches were good enough to get SEC jobs and earn millions more than we could pay?
All the while, yours managed to be humiliated and unceremoniously canned.
Let's play the game before declaring whose is bigger/longer.
Our coach went home to coach at usf...

Wasn't Arkansas State interested in Petrino? I thought there were some phone calls but Petrino's wife wanted out of Arkansas (understandably considering the situation.)

I am not sure our administration was interested but we may have some stupid well heeled fans who were. As far as being jealous good Lord no. He is where he needs to be...right at 5 hours from Jonesboro. We also had some fans who wanted Richardson as BB coach. Like most places we have some idiots over here.
BTW as to the rent a coach comment...20 wins...2 conference titles...1 bowl win. I think we may uncovered where the jealousy and denial is located.

Not sure why WKU's coach is of such concern to Senatobia and Osage. This is a thread about a WKU and ULM football game which becomes a bash Bobby thread by two Ark St fans. Weird.
It would be nice if before someone starts talking smack about a program, they would take the time to get the facts, ie. Taggart leaving WKU for a large raise and a chance to move to a bigger conference, which was also 30 miles from his home (not getting canned). Losing coaches in this manner is obviously something Red Wolves fans are familiar with.
Ark St had Bryan Harsin, WKU has Bobby Petrino, and I assume that both fan bases are happy with their respective coaching staffs.
Let's move on to discussions about games and predictions and such, rather than the morality of coaches.
Unfortunately, many coaches (as well as fans) have moral failings.
Except maybe Ark St coaches and fans.

Freeze and Malzahn just wanted to leave ASU for a bigger program with a higher probability of future success so they could advance their careers.
added this on FY. similar?
willie did move to a school 30 minutes from his entire family. grandma taggart gets to see willie jr. anytime she wants now. it did play into it.
it worked out great for us anyway. made our program step up and pay what some of the other schools in our conference were paying. showed we really are committed to making this work.
