LOL, what do you mean if he is my son, yea he is mines, but TY he said that they told him he was out for a cpl seconds but minus the headache he was gonna be ok. I just know how serious things can be so I go from coach to fan dad real quick. Thx.
He was a little up for this game seeing as how we had family that attended ODU but he was also recruited by ODU for football as well.
Our best go out to your son. Hoping all goes well for him the rest of the year.

What? Holy ****. concussion? I almost commented that he didn't look right after the game or in the presser. Thought maybe he was just really down on himself.

Of course I hope Taylor is alright, along with the rest of you; and hope DB's exploratory surgery goes well. The bye week could not be more timely.

My bad, Forbidden. I was not questioning if he is your son, I just did not express my thought very well. Let me try a re-write.
We all of course hope he is ok, but now, knowing that he is your son, our special thoughts and prayers are with you and him for a full and speedy recovery.

I wonder if they will pull the video from post game press conference in which he was clearly affected?

RE: ODU/ LIBERTY
The Darr penalty was garbage. Anyone who thinks it was a dirty play hasn't played football before. The game is stupid fast, and guys aren't always able to avoid incidental injuries. Not only that, he definitely should not have been ejected. I don't know what the rules are, but for some reason I feel like we have the NFL commissioner to thank for that.
I hope the LU kid is okay, but again the calls in the last minute were crap. And don't even get me started on LU throwing a punch, slamming our guy, and then WE get flagged for it...the play right after Darr got tossed. Questionable officiating to say the least. Glad we still came away on top.

Agree completely.
It may have been a late hit, it was borderline, but ejecting him was just absolutely absurd.

Re: ODU/ LIBERTY
It's a new rule. From ESPN:
The rule states that players who target and hit defenseless opponents above the shoulders will be ejected and a 15-yard penalty will be assessed. If the foul occurs in the first half of a game, the player is ejected for the remainder of that game. If it happens in the second half or overtime, the player is ejected and must sit during the first half of the next game.

RE: ODU/ LIBERTY
Yeah but my point was it may have been a borderline late hit, but that rule specifies "targeting".
Our player wasn't targeting his head, the guy dropped to his feet and all of a sudden a shot to his midsection became a shot to his head.
It was a bad call.

I can tell you right now that the NCAA isn't going to overturn the call. It was a judgement call and the NCAA is going to back the refs every time.
