RE: Massey Ratings 9/28
Ga State is killing our conference ranking. Not piling on just stating a fact. We would probably be right behind the AAC with our winning G5 record and second best P5 record.

Anyone notice who the LOWEST rated conference is by chance? Guess a lil bit more in TV money does not equal crap on the field. Karma she is a beatch.

On another good note it looks like the computers will penalize OSU for playing a joke schedule in a down conference. I almost hope they make it so Oregon or Alabama can expose them.

RE: Massey Ratings 9/28
GsSt will turn it around I think with Miles as their coach. I think in 3-5 years they will be competitive. They may still struggle for fan support but the product on the field won't be what it is today. I mean if you looked at Texas Sts history at the FCS level, you would think "man what a horrible add, the have had one or two good years in the last 25". But we have put things in place to be better now. GaSt hired a coach that will do the same. It's also why I think schools like Missouri St can be a good add because they can change the same way we did. It's a risk but that's where Benson has to look at their business plan and see how they will achieve it.

Y'all just tricked people with that SUU game. USA cannot be overlooked. Y'all looked good against the Vols. I liked how the new unis looked on TV too.

That SUU loss was bad but they're actually off to a good start. SUU is 4-1 and 4 of those games were on the road.

I'm assuming the ranking system that has us 81st is one of those that needs more than five weeks of data to be accurate. If not, I'm going to say that that ranking system sucks.

Maybe you will think better if you use the most complete one. This is the Massey Composite for all football schools.

http://www.masseyratings.com/team.php?t=14238&s=199231

87 - Texas St
99 - ULL
102 - WKU
117 - USA
135 - Ark State
136 - ULM
142 - Troy
156 - Georgia Southern
186 - Idaho
195 - Appalachian St
302 - New Mexico St
314 - Georgia St

The actually massey (BCS portion) rankings are here:

http://www.masseyratings.com/rate.php?lg=cf&sub=FBS

The page the OP got the rankings from was from masseys, but is the average of all 85ish BCS computers:

The composite of the numerous ranking systems is the only one I really pay attention to. I also includes human polls (AP, Coaches and Harris) not just the computers. When you have that many computers plus the human polls it smooths out the outliers. It is the same for the FCS. Lord I hope GaSou, App, Ga State and NMSU cant get up to speed quickly. Every conference is going to have bad teams but NMSU and GaState have to start getting some ooc wins if we are going to change the perception anytime soon. Regardless of who our worse teams are in any give year they just can't be the absolute worse in all of football. If so we have a good chance of challenging the AAC forget about coosa.
