Attendance for UNH Game
I've heard that we are having temporary bleachers installed in the end zones which could up the capacity another 700 - 1000 seats. Capacity 11,198?
With additional stands 12,000 or so?

I could see homecoming having a crowd of 15,000 if we had the seating availability.

RE: Attendance for UNH Game
We have added 400 more seats in the end zone which will seat the band and 100 or so students. Baltimore County is being a pain along with our own Campus Safety staff who will not let us add in more than 400 seats. The Rodgers Forge Homeowners Association has also made a stink about adding in seats as that means extra parking and traffic in the neighborhood.
The question remains what happens when we have more than the 4,000 students show up and all other seats are sold to the public. If that ever happens there is going to be an issue as students are guaranteed admission based on the big student fee they pay each year.
At some point moving games out of Unitas Stadium and down to M&T Bank Stadium needs to happen if we can sell more than 11,000 tickets. We could then let as many students in as possible.

Tiger Nation, now you're talking my language! Personally, I would prefer playing downtown and make a weekend out of it in the inner harbor. It's only a matter of time till these students become alums and season ticket holders, the culture has changed and these kids are used to winning so it's part of their normal Saturday and there's a good chance they continue coming back after they graduate. The older alums need to get on board and drag some other alums back into the fold.

Towson should move all games downtown ASAP. No need to spend any dollars expanding the U. It's a nice lax and track stadium.

I agree completely, that area is not set up to get 15,000 fans in and out of parking lots without one hell of traffic jam. Pre game at Mothers for Towson Fans, Dave from Mothers handled the tailgate at LSU and I'm sure he would do something if we played downtown since he is an alum.

I prefer games at the U. I'm not sure what kind of home field advantage you have at M&T with 15,000 people sitting in a 70,000 seat stadium. If Leonard does that, we'll all adjust and we do need to improve parking, etc. but it's not the same as filling up your own stadium with 5,000 students.
