How much money do you want to bet that they saw what USC did to Kiffen and said "hey, we can do that too!"

thank gawd... he killed 'Cuse down the stretch, and it's taking them years to improve... UConn needs to get someone soon and start recruiting with them ASAP to try and move forward next year.

IMHO, UCONN should have had enough class to let the guy finish the season. Classless move by UCONN to dump the guy now. They should have made the change at the end of last season if they didn't like PP's coaching style.

RE: UConn FB coach fired
What ever happened to that coach for BC that was fired for interviewing with the Jets??? This guy what ever his name would be a good fit for he had some good years in Boston, and that is no easy place to recruit at even though its better than UConn. I don't know WHY the administration thought PP would have been a good replacement for he was terrible at Syracuse and no much better as assistant coach in the NFL. If UConn stays D1 then let's hope they make a good hire this time around or start the application process to drop down a division soon so they have a shot at joining the Big East where they belong.

How long does Greg Schiano last with the bucs? probably not realistic for uconn to get him, maybe the bowling green coach works for uconn.

Same thing I said about USC now goes to UConn. You make these mid-season decisions when you're a weak AD who can't take the heat from a president or boosters, but can throw around your weight on those below you.

This is never about the student athletes, even though it will be said that the kids deserve better. Always the loser in this. It was already a rough season in the making...now it's a total throw-away, and the kids are stuck there for the season.

Greg Robinson killed SU football, no ifs, ands or buts. Pasqualoni led Syracuse on a decline after a great 14 year bowl run. But he won 6 games and went to a bowl with the same team that Greg Robinson won one game with a year later.

Jeff Jagodzinski. He's currently the offensive coordinator at Georgia State.

Had UConn not fallen completely off the map, perhaps he'd have lasted out the season. But with the way the Huskies have played in every game, except the Michigan game, it's not all that surprising. They want to position themselves to get a good coach, before all of 'em take other jobs...

UCONN should consider Chad Morris of Clemson. I also like Maryland's DC, Brian Stewart.

I would like to put in a reccomendation for Ken O'Keefe, who interviewed for the UCONN job last time.

The Long time offensive Coordinater for Iowa. Iowa's offense fell apart when he left Iowa to be an assistant for the Miami Dolphins.

Ralph Friedgen would not be a bad choice, imo. His last season at Maryland he won like 10 games.

Thank goodness. A team with the talent to nearly upset Michigan should not be dropping games to FCS/Mac schools sans NIU.

Say it with me: "What MUST be done eventually SHOULD be done immediately."

As for class, Pasqualoni should've had enough class to resign...
