Guess it's true what they say. Troy is tough to beat at home.
No one had a problem at Troy last year.
You may have won but everyone had to squeak out a win. Except for UL. In 2010 we had the 4th best home record in college football... We probably have slipped from that but I bet it's still high.
that was before the rest of the sunbelt caught up with troy.....
oops.....i mean when the gods started being mean and causing you to have a bunch of turnovers and smiting your defense. all no fault of troy.
because we know i'm wrong about the rest of us catching aaaaaand passing you.
right?
The rest of the conference has gotten better. But that doesn't mean we are the same Troy. We have gone backwards. And even back then there was contenders.... The year Troy went 9-3 MTSU went 10-2 and we beat them soundly.

I wouldn't disagree with that assessment. USA is at best, looking at 6-6 this year (I think 5-7 is the more likely finishing point). Troy beat us, but I would not take much solace in that win if I were Troy, by looking at the game stats. Troy has ULM and Ga State still on the schedule. You should win those. Texas State is a toss up. But I'm not sure you're gonna beat WKU on the road (I hope you do, they're leaving) or ULL or Ole Miss.
I see you guys looking at 6-6 this year. Something feels stagnant about your program, at least looking from outside. At least you aren't UAB, FIU, FAU or La Tech. But you might be unless someone lights a fire under your program. Because it seems as though there really hasn't been a sense of urgency in Troy. And everyone else seems to be trying to up their game.
Not trying to cast shade here. Light a fire under your program.
Congrats on the win today. You were the better program today.

So have all the WKU fans just decided to be negative and unpleasant for their last season here with us?

I don't see anyone being negative or unpleasant any more so than Troy or other fans. But I imagine some of us will get a slap by a troy super hero soon enough.

I wonder who you could be talking about? Would you be trying to provoke a confrontation with a forum moderator?
Good idea.
And yes, WKU fans are being negative and unpleasant in this thread.

That's just hilarious. :winged eagle:
Of course not I thought you were a mod? so now you tell me you think of yourself as a Super Hero? You have a weird complex going on there.
I don't think of you that way but then again you might walk into a phone booth and come out as...
Underdog?

If the Jags do not correct the stupid mistakes they made in the first half of today's game against Troy, they could very will wind up 6-6, but I truly believe they wind up the season at 7-5. I congratulate Troy for coming back in the last minute to regain the lead and ultimately winning the ball game. This game could wind up being one of the top two rivalries in the SBC.

23k is about right. More people trickled in as game went on. And as always our student section starts clearing out after halftime.

I actually have to agree with that number. The reason I say that is because there were a lot and I mean A LOT of people that have tickets but decide to sit out in the tailgate area. Plus, there were quite a few people under the stands yesterday and in the pressbox. So yeah I would agree with that number.
