Your chances are "Slim to None" and Slim just left town. GW is well coached. They beat ranked Richmond and Wofford. They also beat a Furman team that should be better than what they have been in the past.

GW has 2 good RBs and capable WRs. Their QB isn't spectacular but he knows how to manage the game. They have a decent defense for the conference they are in. Their starting NG will be playing on Sunday's.

After starting the season 4-1, with their only loss to Marshall, GW is now ranked 24th in the nation in IAA.

Saturday 10/5
Looks like a lot of competitive games in my opinion.

UTSA 24 @ Marshall 45... Marshall has too much firepower.

FAU 24 @ UAB 20... I went with the better defense, but would not be surprised if UAB wins.

Rice 21 @ Tulsa 16...Rice is the better team, though Tulsa could pull it out at home.

ECU 27 @ MTSU 31...I've got the better team losing, based on a let-down after last week's big win.

UNT 28 @ Tulane 26.. Toss up. I went with the more experienced head coach.

FIU 10 @ USM 20... This game will be ugly. Going with the home team.

La Tech 20 @ UTEP 17... Another ugly game. La Tech has the better defense.

That same Furman team barely beat Presbyterian (botched extra point), who we destroyed at their place.

UTSA @ Marshall
MY LINE: Marshall 38-31I believe in UTSA's scoring ability, however, the cross country road trip and a more experienced Marshall team should be able to take this.
REALITY SAID: Marshall 34-10 Marshall notches another one
1-0

FAU @ UAB
MY LINE: UAB 21-20IMO, its really a toss up. I am giving UAB the benefit of the doubt in that its a home game. Would I be surprised of a FAU win, NO.
REALITY SAID: FAU 37-23 Man, I thought UAB could/would get this but I did say I wouldn't be surprised if FAU won.
1-1

Rice @ Tulsa
MY LINE: Rice 27-23Can't trust Tulsa. A Rice win goes a long way in locking up CUSA W for them.
REALITY SAID: Rice 30-27 OTRice is extending its lead in the West with only really Tulane that could challenge them now... Tulsa, WTF?
2-1

ECU @ MTSU
MY LINE: ECU 33-20IMO, there are lots of factors going into this game. ECU comes off an historic beatdown of the Tarheels the week before and could be battling the trap game syndrome. MTSU needs OT to beat a common opponent in the FAU Owls. Personally I think MTSU has the skill set to score with us and this game comes down to the Pirates not being to high on themselves after beating a in-state rival.
REALITY SAID: ECU 24-17A W is a W. Considering the trap game nature of this contest I will take it. Kind of surprised that MTSU was so empty.
3-1

UNT @ Tulane
MY LINE: UNT 27-23 Sorry Green Wave, I can't trust your performances. UNT has looked pretty decent so far. Say Tulane proves me wrong, that puts them at 2-0 in the West.
REALITY SAID: Tulane 24-21 So close in score and outcome of this one.... but Tulane found a way...
3-2

FIU @ USM
MY LINE: USM 17-6Since someone has to win and you can't score negative points in football... I'd have more faith in USM winning than I do in FIU winning.
REALITY SAID: FIU 24-23Are USM's fortunes bad karma for firing Bower and taking the Hawaii Bowl?
3-3

La Tech @ UTEP
MY LINE: UTEP 30-20 Both teams have been having a rough go of it. I am taking UTEP because it is a home game. That said, Skip has won an EPIC OT game there as the head man at ECU.
REALITY SAID: LaTech 38-35WOW, La Tech had been looking horrible of late.... a little higher scoring than I would have thought overall.
3-4

FUTURES:

THU 10/3/13
WKU @ ULM
http://scores.espn.go.com/college-footba...ekNumber=6
MY LINE: WKU 31-23 I think WKU has it more together than ULM.
REALITY SAID: WKU 31-10WKU rolled them boys. Those chrome helmets are sick!
4-4

10/5/13
Liberty @ ODU
http://scores.espn.go.com/college-footba...ekNumber=6
MY LINE: ODU 45-31 ODU looks stronger against FCS competition than Liberty. However Liberty has shown an aptitude to score as well.
REALITY SAID: ODU 21-17 Picked the correct winner but a lot lower scoring than I would have thought.
5-4

Gardner Webb @ Charlotte:
http://scores.espn.go.com/college-footba...ekNumber=6
MY LINE: GW 28-23I could conceivably see Charlotte winning but GW has played some better competition.
REALITY SAID: Charlotte 53-5104-jawdrop Higher scoring AND closer than I would have thought. Looks like Charlotte erupted in the 4th quarter to take the game over and finish the deal.
5-5

Your school could be in Heaven or Hell after this week.

Looks like the number of the beast this week was .500 at 5-5 on picks this week.
