2 WINS AGAINST BIG TEN
Guys, we can argue and complain about a lack of D, but I'm going to enjoy this moment. OK, I go back to the dark ages.....that's right before NIU ever entered the MAC. This program has made a quantum leap over the past 10 years. A lot of you young dudes really have no point of reference....NIU is really relevant now when you talk about top 25 rankings and potential big bowl games.

All I can say is ENJOY THE RIDE!

From 19 straight losses vs. the Big Ten to 4-4 in the last 8. Much better.

Congrats on doing what no MAC school has ever done before (again). That Iowa win is looking better and better each week.

To get them to keep talking about us our next few games need to be won witha significant margin. Today I enjoy the NIU victory and prepare for the Bears to thrash the Lions. Tomorrow I start to dream about the next big play NIU will make and the way ESPN will say that it's because the other team is so bad....

In 2003, BGSU beat Purdue in the season and Northwestern in the Motor City Bowl. As far as performance vs the Big Ten is concerned, I actually have to give the edge to the '03 Falcons over the '13 Huskies. Since the '03 Boilermakers went to the Capital One Bowl, BGSU beat two Big Ten bowl teams. We do not yet know how many B1G bowl teams the '13 Huskies beat. I predict one (Iowa).

Of course, there is a slight chance that the '13 Huskies could play a third B1G team, depending on how the pieces fall.
