When I first saw the title of the article about their receiver, I thought he had set some individual game record against UAB.

"Fortunately" that wasn't the case.

Only problem with what he said about judging us by the record compared to other CUSA teams is we have looked awful in those losses and the win minus a few series here and there. Penalties, play calling, QB play, defense. Where is the part we do judge by? 4 games in.

We were just plain outmatched against LSU and, to a lesser degree, Vandy. We just blew the Troy game. The Vandy game was a big game for them - wanting to prove the UMass game was a fluke, being back home, and, I think, it was homecoming. Winning a game against an opponent like that requires a "down" week by them and an "up" week for us. Vandy had their "down" week last week against UMass and you had to expect a much better effort against UAB this week.

How the other team plays, regardless of who it is, shouldn't determine how we play. Losing, being outmatched and looking like **** are all different things.
