RE: Fire Shumann!
No, Coach McGee said in his post game interview that the defense played well that it was the offense that didn't play well enough to win. Seems to me you don't play very well when you give up 52 points and 560 yds. Just saying the offensive players didn't play one down on defense.

Well, to be accurate, McGee said they played well early in the game and were keeping us in it, which is true. It was 17-6 late in the 2nd quarter. That's quite a bit different than the 21 first quarter points we gave up against LSU. In fact, we spotted LSU 28pts before we even got on the board if I remember correctly.
Defense is definitely not our strength, though, and McGee would be foolish to think so. Our strength is our offense, and unfortunately tonight our offense wasn't much of a strength. Brown was off, Nelson was knocked out of the game, Reaves couldn't get things going, etc. The only bright spot on offense tonight was the fact we got some more guys stepping up catching the ball with Powell, Height, and Backman all getting some catches.

RE: Fire Shumann!
We should of had three touchdowns instead of three field goals. Two dropped passes and a missed wide open receiver. On the drive after the on side kick, the refs missed an obvious pass interference. I was super pissed because it happened right in front of a ref that threw his flag 20+ yards to call pass interference against UAB when there were two other refs within 10 yards of the play that did not call it... The missed call was the final nail in the coffin.
