MM will not be fired. We all know this to be true. Arguments for or against, valid or not do not make a difference. Look at what motivates the decision makers, it's not competition, it's not accountability, these are box checking go home feel gooders that are members of the good ol' boys club and MM is a card holding member.

Go Dukes

I know it's not apples and apples; they have all the $$$ in the world. But he still made the move- not saying that JB should do the same- just saying that Hayden pulled the trigger. Actually, maybe JB should do the same. I don't know anything though
With all due respect, anyone who thinks MM should be fired right now in the middle of the season is an idiot.
be respectful then; this isn't O duh's board. many of our fans have put the idea out there and made solid arguments for it, which I will not rehash. Like I said, "maybe." I don't like mediocrity and believe that wasted potential is a great tragedy. But again, I don't know all the implications or know if it is the correct move. I don't think anyone who thinks it is a good idea is an idiot though, nor do I believe that those who think otherwise are idiots either. throwing out ideas and bantering is fun. And no matter what, I will enjoy the club level this Saturday and stand outside with my 3 bros in hand and root the entire game.
So anyone who thinks firing MM right now in the middle of the season is a good idea isn't an idiot in your book. Got it....
"With all due respect," you're an ******* to anyone that doesn't agree with you? Got it...
With all due respect, you're a ******* if you're going to defend any idiot who thinks MM should be fired right now in the middle of the season...Got it...

There will come a time when MM steps down, and that time may well be sooner than later, but your posts are making less and less sense.
The "Mickey built BFS argument" always rubs me the wrong way. Looking over the course of our program, the pattern is not as rosey as it appears. There was definitely a baited hook that worked our real well for funding stadium expansion, which has now become a self-fulfilling reason for bigger things, without this "dominance" we seem to see in a very up and down program.
Rodney Landers, Scotty McGee and Arthur Moats "built BFS." And what we really mean by that is "created the visual that made us seriously imagine competing in the ACC." And since 2008, save a rain soaked miracle in Blacksburg, JMU football has proceeded to UNDERACHIEVE IN FCS for 5 years.
I love the Dukes, but we "dominated" for one year. That's it. Carr Reports and Club Suites aside, we are not going to be competitive for a National Championship until MM is gone. That much is clear.
In college sports, the coach = the program. If you are going to blame Mickey for going 6-5 or 7-4, then by definition you must give him credit for winning a national title and getting to the semifinals.
The body of work is superior to most coaches in FCS.
The list of coaches who have had more success is pretty short.
