I wish WVU had another chance at the Sooners, with Trickett leading the charge...

Doubt the outcome would be much different. In fact, you didn't have to face Bell.

Oklahoma State is overrated. I'll tell you after Bedlam. 05-mafia Besides, WVU is used to an OSU style offense.

We shall see...

But be careful of stating absolutes. You could look as silly as ESPiN's talking heads, who said WVU was terrible, had no defense, and OSU would score 50 on 'em by halftime...

As up and down as WVU has been, the jury still out on WVU IMO.

The offense? Yes. The defense? No. WVU's D is as good as any in the Big XII this year, possibly better...

Rooting for your arch rival over some team you don't even consider a rival and isn't even in your conference?

I liked last year's game much better.

Also, I don't hate Oklahoma, at all.

Good game by the Sooners.

Definitely glad the Sooners won. As s Texas Tech grad/fan, I have tremendous respect for the Sooners and Cowboys.

That might change because I just moved to Oklahoma but so far everyone has been very respectful here in Oklahoma.

I think Texans and Okies are pretty used to seeing each other. OKC is full of Texans and Dallas is full of Oklahomans. However, if you plan on staying here, you'll have to choose between the pumpkins or us as your second team. You can't play both sides of the fence here and you can't get away with saying you are neutral forever. 04-cheers

Nice win for Oklahoma. I too wanted them to beat Notre Dame. Bob Stoops is a great coach. Give that guy a solid team and he'll win big. I don't think Kelly feels he can win the big games at Notre Dame due to the enrollment restrictions. I think he's growing very tired of those restrictions. I see him leaving in the next couple of years. Notre Dame is not what it used to be. They have restricted themselves right out of football legend program status. Perfect situation in that Notre Dame did it to itself.

It was a good win by the Sooners. And since Notre Dame is a name program, that convincing win should vault the Sooners into the top 10...

Yep, that team that has won 15 out of the last 18, went 12-0 last season and played in the national championship game is handicapped by "enrollment restrictions".

Kelly did not win at Oklahoma last year. That must not have been a "big game" at Norman (because the Irish won?) but this game in South Bend was a "big game".

Nope, ND never had any academic enrollment restrictions until Brian Kelly was hired, the poor guy.

Naturally, OU fans want ND to win out. I hope y'all destroy ASU in Dallas. 04-cheers

I'm just glad with two losses there's little chance of ND in the championship.
We might actually get a decent competitive game.
