RE: New 2015 WBB Commit
The GWOC is a very solid conference. Unique will come in with a well developed skill set.

RE: New 2015 WBB Commit
The men's and women's basketball teams are having very different recruiting experiences, either by design or circumstance. The women have filled all five spots for next year and two out of three spots for 2015. The men have filled only one out of three for next year, and none for 2015. I assume not a lot of scholarship offers are made two years out, so does that mean Cullop is getting her top choices? On the other hand, it seems a bit of a gamble to evaluate talent so early on. I would be worried for the men, but K has proven his ability as a recruiter, and the one guy who verballed certainly got plenty of other offers.

The men have a ton of offers out there for 2014 and 2015. Unfortunately they have lost out on quite a few kids already, especially the big guys and mostly to mid-majors. There is a lot of depth on the current team, so taking time to get players shouldn't be a problem. In MBB you don't get commits for 2015 this early unless you're getting big-time talent.

Key in recruiting is to identify players as early as possible. Once they get noticed by bigger programs it's a harder sell. It sounds like that relationship with UT was built early, and even though others schools like Dayton or CMU come in she will honor the commitment.

Quote:Printz loves the fact that the women's games at Toledo draws over 4,000 fans per game, which is the top in the MAC.
"I love the community support, they really get behind the team," she said. "Everyone knows the girls."

Printz is a 4 star player, per the new eval. site of Prospects Nation, from a 1-5 rating system. Can't include evaluation w/o $$. Many writers/evaluators fom ESPN's Hoopgurlz migrated to this website.
