That's the double edged sword now... The team has shown what it can do. Now expectations have been raised.

I think we need to keep our feet on the ground.

Yes this was one of the biggest wins in school history. We had a similar huge win last year and then we turned around and laid an egg the following week.

I think this year's Wyoming is better than last year's Houston, but there is a reason they dont hand out the conference title before conference play starts. Too many good teams in the sun belt to sleep on anyone.

During the summertime I thought of Louisiana, Arkansas State and Western Kentucky as automatic losses. I just no longer think that this is the case. We may very well loose those games, but, now, I also see the bobcats as very capable of winning those games.

Eh, flavor of the week. It happens often. I wager we become flavor of the week at least once more. Next week is a much tougher game for us, so I don't expect us to look heads above the competition like we did this week. Because of that, we will lose our flavor status.

Before we start shopping for bowls, we just have to continue winning. And it won't be easy. I am a bit worried about our inability to hit field goals.

ULM's lack of a kicking game last season probably cost them the conference title...You have every right to be worried.

A PAT if i'm not mistaken is in the center between hash marks, while the FG attempt was on the far end, which can make a difference.

Don't care, it's an easy HS field goal. The kid set records last year and can't make chip shots now.

i know how bad it came be to watch a miserable kicking game.

It is obviously wayyyy early, but I felt compelled to post this as it is a milestone for our new FBS program.

For the first time in school history, an important sports news outlet is projecting us to go to a bowl.

Where does this rank in terms of conference games you guys are looking forward to? Since we are new kids on the block, I don't figure it's that big of a game to y'all, but I think on the whole, you guys are the team most of our fans look forward to playing.

I'm looking forward to the game and will be there. TXST and USA are quickly making a name for themselves. It's our first conference game and you guys are on a roll. It should be a great game.

Probably right after stAte and WKU. It would have fallen behind ULM up until Browning's quad went "doink" this past weekend.

Troy comes next primarily because their band plays over our band. don't think our new band director is ready for the band nerd fight.
