Stuck in bad traffic this morning, they had Gerry Dinardo on so I texted them "NIU vs Purdue?" hoping Hanley would ask him about the game. It never happened mainly because Mike Mulligan loves to hear himself talk.

After Dinardo ended I texted them back ..."that was bad .... No NIU love".

I got a text back "none".

Meh. They've talked NIU before. I wouldn't be too upset about it.

Mully and Hanley wouldn't have the guts to mention NIU because all they are worried about is ratings. I don't know how those two survived, their show is SOOOOOO boring. As much as I dislike Bernstein for the bitter toxic person that he is, I do appreciate how he sometimes manages to ask Dinardo about NIU when they are on.

I texted them back that I would let other NIU fans know what they think. I was sent back "there are NIU fans? Tell it to guys at the Orange Bowl...".

Those dirty bastards....I shouldnt have replied but sent back that NIU brought lots of fans to Miami..it was great...blah,blah....

I laughed then I got mad ...then repeated all day. To hold my promise I had to share.

I doubt that was mully or Hanley responding, they have talked NIU before...that abrasiveness sounds more like their producer Dustin roads who is a bit of an asshat...the producers have given me the names of songs they play on air before that M&H would never know

On the other hand, if you try listening to E$PN1000 you hear about nothing except the Jets (and maybe still Tebow?)

Send the station manager and the hosts an email with the jack@ss responses you got from their producers. They will be a bit interested in how people who call or texttheir station. I have also blocked the Score off my radio. Not really worth the aggravation.

Sadly I have a hard time listening to either one. I would only listen in the morning before work anyway.

Dustin Roads is garbage, that show is just so-so (better than the Boo-Yah dopes) but I think most of us would rather listen to Nsync albums than either of the two morning shows.

Replying to myself....agree with whoever said Mully loves to hear himself talk. Man, that show is just plain BORING. I listen to sports radio around 7a-8a weekdays on my way home from work, Mike & Mike on ESPN 1000 are actually pretty good. If I had satellite radio Dan Patrick and Jay Mohn are awesome.

The Score is FINALLY starting to promote the NIU games on the radio....announcing it every 1/2 hour in the updates
