But the c-usa rep did say "no plans" to expand. Of course they don't. But if folks bounce then they have to.

Take the theology elsewhere.
I don't know if you can really discuss JMU to CUSA in any other framework
haha. You're plenty annoying, but this was actually pretty good.

I was asking the same thing. Do the mods want people to read these boards or not. Anyway true or false it was a good read.

I heard on the AAC boards that this thread had changed topic from C-USA expansion possibilities to a debate about "creationism"-vs-"evolution". That seemed too weird to be true, even for this site, so I had to see for myself. Damned if it didn't happen.

No I just decided to get educated at actual institutions of higher learning. You should try it sometime...
I would point out that JMU has an engineering program, along with a nationally ranked business program and many nationally ranked medical degrees (SLP, Audiology, etc)...but pointing out your stupidity would be redundant since you went to Ole Dirty...
Oh really? What types of engineering degrees? Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, Environmental? What what do you have?
Oh, no. It's just a general engineering program. Which is about as much use in the industry as a used piece of tissue. As I said. STEM students pass you guys by.
Do I need to mention ODU's nationally ranking Grad schools, not only in Engineering but in Business and Nursing and Health Sciences? Or our superior amount of research dollars?
Need I mention your Unranked National University status. That puts you at 206th... at best. Based on the Forbes rankings, you're closer to 575ish.
Ole Dirty CC is useless. Save your tuition money and just go to Tidewater.
You're a safety school for the safety schools. Christopher Newport is your academic superior.

We made the NCAA tourney in basketball last year and won a game in it. OUr women's basketball was an NIT finalist year before last. We have been to regionals and super regionals in baseball in recent years. Not that you all may care, but we have won many national titles in archery. We bring a lot to the table in most sports. More than Charlotte in recent years...
Your win was a play in game versus another horrible 16 seed. Your conference tourney was depleted of having the full allotment of CAA teams, as well. Congrats, you got the autobid to the NCAA tourney as a 16 seed, nobody wants LIU-Brooklyn here either.

haha. Where on earth does this UNC-charlotte hubris come from? If we catch sh!t for being a potential FCS move up, what the eff are you guys?
Are you trying to throw around the two first round losses in the NIT in the last decade as some kind of stellar achievement? Good Grief, get over yourselves, UNC-C.

No, but I wouldn't beat my chest over winning a watered down conference tournament to get a 16 seed either. We haven't played in a conference ever where we would be earning 16 seeds.

Riiight. And you made the statement that "they bring nothing else athletically". Hunh. Sooooo, what exactly do you bring?
The fact that you've never been played in a conference where you would earn a 16 seed? Okay, quite the resume builder there!
Try winning that conference sometime then, mmmm, kay?

This is the downside of JMU - pretentious, petulant and entitled.
I don't know anything about rivalry between ODU and JMU, but I would think ODU should be a bit nervous in terms of recruiting as JMU affords many 757 recruits the option of staying close to home, but also experience a school in a more traditional college town Should be very interesting if this does indeed happen.
When ODU and JMU were both FCS, JMU was the one that lost the 757 recruiting battle when ODU came on the scene. They won their national title with 757 recruits and they have never been the same talent wise since ODU took over the 757.
'Duke Dawg' said wait a second.....I think the Citadel just scored on ODU again.
and ODU WON............
wait a second.....I think Delaware just scored on jmu ....again, and again and again and jmu LOST!!!!.
