Does anybody know the exact deal with this Time Warner Cable Sportschannel? The Kent game is supposed to be on there and apparently Directv has that channel, but Im starting to wonder based on the online guide and the nature of the programming on it, that the game will not be shown on that channel. It seems like it may be more of a regional cable type availability for TWCS and not available on Directv national. Much like how Hawks games are on WGN local sometimes but not the national WGN.

There were talks of the MAC and NIU trying to get this game on in our home area but no word yet.

Per my Comcast guide, WPWR is showing the exciting match-up of buffalo vs EMU at the same that the NIU Kent game is on.

Well that sucks. Wonder about WCIU as that seems to be our only option...unless they give us a mirror with WPWR buth that is doubtful.

Actually NIU vs Kent is slated for a 2:30pm kickoff. EMU vs Buffalo is 11am.

I noticed that on comcast this year with the MAC games being on "The U" channel 8 WCIU....is that new? I don't recall them carrying these games previously

It is on ESPN3 so could always just use the old fashioned HDMI cable to plug into the laptop and watch in the HD in the TV

Oh nice I didn't realize that before! Now that you said that and I looked it up, I see it is also going to be on ESPN Gameplan

I will say that xbox has stepped up their ESPN3 streaming to a watchable level. I love the fact its on gameplan though. If you get desperate you can always pay the 25 dollar per week charge. What sucks though is its all standard definition.

Except that Xbox screwed up the EIU game.

To be fair...it was ESPN that had screwed up. The games also did not work on Apple WatchESPN apps.

Does anyone know what happened? It looked terrible on a Windows 8 machine that I used to Chromecast to my TV. I went to an XP machine and it looked OK. Then I went to my Droid phone and the picture was great. (Hope WatchESPN starts to support Chromecast.) At one point, the computer was 42 seconds behind my phone.

Yes! But who watches just plain TV these days? You need to be with it and perform all the connections so you can view an inferior product with all kinds of neat gaps and buffering of the stream. That's where it's all at, man!! No more plain TV for me!

Like I posted before, ISU and WIU got the jump on NIU and the MAC by signing up their game for CSN in our time slot. It's a shame given that there are no production costs on NIU's end. Maybe the MAC and Time Warner should announce their broadcast slate earlier next year.

And just announced by the MAC that the NIU at BGSU VB game will be on CSNC live.

Hopefully we will get additional CSNC exposure next year.
