If you're wishing to submit a logo ... please try to avoid using full trademarked logos.

You can use the name. You can use the logo. You can't use both at the same time. I let clip outs or unusual zooms/cuts slide like the JMU board logo as that is a bit of gray area.

I have a little bit of graphic knowledge. Which logo are you trying to update? I guess I am unfamiliar with "GTS." Can you show me some past examples?

This is the Towson team board on the site. I just did a skin for it (see the purdy colors?) for the fans here. But I suck at creating a good masthead/banner like you see on the top left.

GTS = georgia_tech_swagger ... most people on the site just say GTS instead of typing it all out.

Towson is the Tigers. Something that invokes Tigers. Preferably in a menacing way. Examples of good banners elsewhere on the site:

Can you open Coreldraw files? You lose quality when you copy and upload a hosted file. If not, I can convert it to Jpeg or photoshop.

I will start playing around with it.

Here is a rough draft. I can change the color scheme if you want. I thought it would look better with a black backdrop but your background is already black. The original file can be scaled to your liking. There are color tones and effects that do not show up in this hosted jpeg.

In the star shape behind the Tiger I can add the same pattern that is on your skin and add a yellow outline.

I think it looks cool with black borders on the skin

If you look at our school logo closely you can see fangs at the bottom of the T and N in Towson. If you could modify it slightly to replicate that I think most folks would be fine with that and our Tiger logo.
