The good news for Georgia State is that Saban is well known for calling off the dogs early. He wont show up anyone, and will have reserves in by half if its a blowout.

Asking other GA State fans, when did Saban call them off in 2010?

Reserves were in early. The dogs were called off very early, but Alabama's 2010 backups are winning titles in 2012 and beyond.

3rd string RB Eddie Lacy took over with 7:08 left in the 2nd quarter. Backup Trent Richardson did not play.

Backup QB AJ McCarron came in with 5:02 left in the 2nd quarter.

You just mentioned AJ McCarron and Eddie Lacy. LOL.

They were still throwing the ball at the end of the 3rd.

It was a Thursday night TV game. He just couldn't just call off the dogs with the whole entire world watching.

Bama went into shutdown mode in the 2nd quarter. The game was a favor to Curry, so no need to embarrass him more than 42 at the half.

He needs to develop some depth, so expect them to try to get it out of hand as quickly as possible and play anyone he doesn't intend to redshirt. They need some development in their offensive line and honestly their defense isn't as solid as its' been.
He's not one to hang 70 on someone unless it's out of vengeance.

On the bright side, if Georgia State does win and the planet doesn't explode soon after, it would be the biggest win in SBC history!

On this day and at this time I will be a HUGE GSU fan. I know it's not likely (or even that possible) but I'd LOVE to see the Panthers pull off what would surely be THE biggest upset in recent college football history...

GO GSU!!!! 04-cheers

Just take the money and run. Try to avoid any injuries. Focus on the conference games. etc...

I had a great time when I went and it was exciting until midway thru the 4th qtr.
Good luck the rest of the season and can't wait to see the game next year in the Dome.

04-cheers

It could be argued that Mobile Mardi Gras fits the original intent.
