I don't think the running is the problem. We could never really run against B1G teams and they were both successful against our FCS team. I'm most worried about the passing game. I think we'll be fine running when we get to MAC play, but I have no confidence that we will be able to throw the ball with any success.
So, Kent State and Toledo aren't in the MAC?
As for Scriven, I read that he is dealing with some kind of nerve injury.

If he's dealing with a nerve injury, why the hell would you put him in in a blowout loss? I think we're getting the company line on this one. Sounds like an immature Coach that has an axe to grind with a Senior. Just showing him who's boss.

So they finally put Scriven in on a goal line situation, where he was successful every time last year, and use him as a decoy.
Great move coach. How'd that work for you?

This is where I think much of the blame can and should be placed. Just predictable, unimaginative, vanilla play calling all season long. No creativity.

RE: the official fire kirk ciarocca thread!
Seems like it's time to switch-up personnel on offense. TVT is showing no signs of improvement through 6 games. I think a lot of this has to do with coaching, but nonetheless, Terrell, other than throwing into double coverage on his first play INT yesterday, appears to have more poise and better execution under center (as he did vs. MSU as well). The stat lines for both players support this. I think it's time to give him a start.
Not sure what to make of the RB situation. Clearly the O line isn't opening up big holes, but the Mighty Mouse duo isn't getting it done. They seem to lack the speed and elusiveness (i.e. the ostensible trade-off for lack of size & power) that is generally associated with diminutive backs playing at this level. Not sure what better personnel options we have here - or perhaps play calling that better exploits the relative strengths of these types of backs - but something has to give here.
You know what they say about doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.

Yeah you would think the HC would step in there. Maybe this guy will be smart enough to parlay this HC job into a big time coordinator position and do his usual hop skip and jump routine out of here. Wouldn't be the first time.

What is the point of your constant bully-like attitude? What's your agenda?

What ? Agenda for the kids to get what they deserve and for the community to benefit. Not your obvious agenda. Your so sensitive, that now it's " bullying". I grew up in a more manly society. That when one gets called out its accountability not bullying

Like I said, I have no agenda. If having an agenda is being a fan of WMU then guilty as charged. Your agenda is the one I question. Surprised others haven't already figured it out, its pretty obvious.

As a WMU fan, you have an amazing superficial grasp (i.e. "google") of the history and facts pal. But yet you persist in spinning them as relevant to this train wreck we have today. Why?

I would argue that last season was a bigger train wreck. At least this season has actually met my expectations. Can't say the same about last season. Not even close.

So winning four games is a bigger train wreck than winning zero? And you have no agenda?? Rightttttttttt.

I didn't expect a 0-6 start but I also didn't expect this team to light the world on fire.
