I think you're premature on your prediction, dude. Syracuse is playing Tulane, not LSU...

yeah but our offense is clicking, it doesnt matter the opponent. as of 3 weeks ago we were struggling to get the coach on the same page with our QB and our QB on the same page as our WRs. its more an experience thing more than anything that was killing us

I'd wait until you play someone with a pulse...

That's why I'm not saying WVU's offense is starting to click, even though it was moving the ball very well in the 2nd half of last week's game. WVU didn't play anyone. This week's game against Maryland will be the true test of whether or not Ford has finally gotten a full grasp of the offense...

IMO the same applies to Syracuse. You need to play someone of note before proclaiming the offense if moving like a well oiled machine...

we have already played psu & nw.

the problem is we have a new HC & a new QB transfer. those were problems that needed to be worked out

I'd still wait until seeing how the Orange offense does against Clemson next week before making any definitive proclaimations...

While we're talking about helmets: I'm not a fan of the helmet VT is wearing today.

The good new is that if VT loses to Marshall today, while wearing that helmet, they may permanently retire it...

Id rather see Clemson coming into the Dome with QB that we have now than with the Oklahoma transfer we had before. It took 6 interceptions in 2 games plus multiple batted down passes for the coaches to realize that the transfer was not the answer. They put the current QB in during the last drive of the Northwestern game and he marched the team right down the field for his first college fb drive.

Last week playing 1aa Wagner, the Oklahoma QB transfer, Zach Allen had 3 possessions for a total of -1 yards in the air and 12 yards total offense. In came the current QB, Tyrelle Hunt and less than 2 halves he accounted for 6 TD's, 5 of them in the air and 265 yards. After sitting him in the 3rd qtr, our two other QB'sgot one other TD the re4st of the game.

If this kid started, the first 2 games, the Penn State game would have been a win, imo. I dont know if SU beats Northwestern but the game certainly would have been a much closer game.

The matte finish fading into gloss finish is pretty cool.

The orange in the back makes it easier to see the receivers downfield for the SU QB...

But we weren't discussing the all orange helmet. We were discussing the helmet being used today...

Congratulations to the Under Armour Turtles. Maryland wins the contest for worst helmet of the day. Virginia Tech has to settle for second place.

These Maryland helmets look what you get in those college all-star games where players put random logos all over em.
