No Atlanta "fans" are known as the worst sports fans in the country.

But what do you expect? Half of them are Yankee transplants who still have an undying loyalty to the Yankees and Cubs (or some other transplant team).

Then you have the Falcons which until recently haven't been relevant.

The Hawks have never been relevant.

The Braves have been relevant, but underachievers.

One things "Atlantans" love is college football though.

Nice contradiction. If Atlantans are yankees, why do they love college football? Atlanta is widely regarded as the worst sports city. College football is certainly a sport.

They love the SEC basically since they have so many alums and people that have grown up watching them here. For the most part everyone else they couldn't care less about other than maybe Clemson since they have a good number of followers here.

You should really attend "home games" against Cubs, Packers, Bears, Yankees, and NY Giants. I've never seen the Jets, but I will this coming Monday and would not be surpised if I need to add them to the list. Its not much of a home game against those these teams.

Atlanta is full of northern transplants.

Yeah, but even Yankees like winners. Heck, some of them still seem to think that they won that War of Northern Aggression. Go figure. Everyone likes to watch and identify with a winning team....jump on the bandwagon fans though. Which would probably jump off with a few losing seasons.
